M&A Transaction Services - Senior Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to be part of our growing team in Perth and establish a career in corporate finance with Deloitte. What will your typical day look like? As a Senior Analyst you will spend your time performing detailed financial due diligence and preparing reports/ presentations for senior management and boards. This role will also provide the opportunity to: Partner with leading Australian private and listed corporates, global enterprises and private equity firms Help our clients execute complex transactions through developing a deep understanding of the target business and its drivers Review and analyse historical earnings, cash flows, net working capital, net debt, capital expenditure, financial forecasts and underlying assumptions Evaluate potential synergies and post-merger integration considerations Report on potential key issues for our clients, including identification of risks or price factors impacting investment decisions as well as areas of opportunity About the team Our M&A Transaction Services team make sellers' lives easier by providing due diligence information, transaction related accounting and tax advice, reviewing sale and purchase agreements. Our supportive team turns clients' frustration into assurance with sophisticated and tailored M&A advice. Our clients include Australian private and listed corporates, global enterprises and private equity firms. Our team regularly draws on the capabilities of our colleagues in other parts of M&A and from across the firm to provide multi-disciplinary insights to our clients, supporting them throughout the transaction lifecycle. This is enhanced by our embedded data analytics platform, iDeal, within our core offering that provides detailed insights for our clients. Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are an accounting / finance professional with: Structured thinking style with analytical and financial skills to support complex transactions Exposure to or interest in the broader deal/ transaction process and environment Experience in audit, assurance, business, financial due diligence or corporate finance Sound understanding of accounting principles and concepts An Undergraduate degree in Finance and/or Accounting Post graduate qualification or currently studying, e.g. CA, CPA, CFA, MBA or Masters in Applied Finance Why Deloitte At Deloitte, we create positively differentiated work experiences that enable our people to feel valued and achieve their full potential.
