The largest Australian owned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Company have an URGENT requirement for an experienced Test Analyst to work within a mission critical environment. The permanent opportuntiy is based in Canberra, candidats with a Highly Protected Clearance will be highly regarded. As the Test Analyst you will be required to develop and conduct testing according to test scripts, test cases and test reports to verify quality, stability and reliability of applications and/or hardware products across the relevant platforms and infrastructure in accordance with client’s business requirements. SPECIFIC SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Mandatory: - Execution of test cases in a mainframe environment.
SPECIFIC SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Highly Desirable: - Test execution in a mainframe environment with a web-based interface using IBM Websphere, DB2 database, Computer Associates Gen for mainframe processing and BRIO and Teradata for the reporting environment.
- Test execution of EDI messages using XML and MQ Series.
- ISTQB Foundations Certification.
- Familiarity with Winrunner
ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Conducts performance testing, functionality testing, usability testing and/or performance testing depending on the role.
- Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts, or participation in the development of test cases and test scripts.
- Develop and maintain test data.
- Identify and document defects.
- Perform integration and system testing.
- Analyse the impact of changes with test manager
