Technical Business Development Manager/Consultant - Solution Selling

 

Will work with Account Managers to provide technical expertise and help close new business. 

Excellent communication and presentation skills are important.

Looking for current experience with VoIP, Routing & Switching and Security. 


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will support pre-sales initiatives for Cisco consulting services and products as well as management services opportunities by working with the sales team to architect, design, propose, and close both existing and new opportunities. Additionally, you will provide support and leadership in network design and architecture as well as provide product updates and advice to clients. You will also present recommendations to clients regarding Cisco product configuration and you will be responsible for the development of the project scope and the development of the proposals. Regional travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role working with clients and sales support with Cisco network products
Core network routing and switching experience - Cisco specific
Specific knowledge and experience with Cisco voice, security and infrastructure products is desired

EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field is required accompanied with technology designated certifications. A master’s degree is a plus. Candidates should have a desire to gain technical skills through advanced certifications (MCSE/CCNP/CCIE) or other similar technical achievements.
